Description: Powell Design Group (previously DesignWorks Architects) is Architects of Record for 9 of 11 total operational support buildings for Trans Pacific Container Services Corporation a Subsidiary for Mitsui Overseas Line of Japan. The complete complex is designed to handle up to 200,000 shipping containers per year.

In particular this facility gathers the logistical management data necessary for TraPac (the port operator) to manage the large volume of in-bound cargo containers. An identical canopy is also provided for similar operations on out-bound cargo containers.

In addition to supporting the roof the canopy’s structure supports all the overhead lighting, cameras and security equipment.
