As the founding member of Powell Design Group, George has brought his strength and capacity for design, technology and management to the field of architecture. In 1984, George established Powell Design Group to offer clients exceptional quality and detail oriented architectural services. Throughout the history of PDG, George has respectfully guided the firm to grow in stature and quality with lesser emphasis on size. His personal relationships, consensus building qualities and ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, municipalities and staff is a result of his years as an instructor at the University of Florida and Indian River Community College. His talent and management style has allowed Powell Design Group to attract dedicated and motivated personnel, cultivating a team of individuals that present a personal and thorough level of services that is not typically found in the practice of architecture.
